Dear Cheif Justce Chanderchud ji IN my experience in day today life and ongoing problems in India, I feel very sorry for ordinary and less educated people. India has uncontrolable population after China, Also illegal entry of people from back door. How India can be self supported, until these two problems are resolved. I am sure some wise people will have solution to the problems.

While I was growing up in the 1970’s democracy, constitution and all the fundamental concepts were strongly imbibed in us by our teachers in school.. currently in india I feel lot of democratic principles are not given importance or wrongly explained. Makes me feel very sad. There is no strong stand for democracy.

David, good morning. I hope you'll take this in the right spirit. It was great to see you interviewing the Honorable Chief Justice of India. Thanks for providing valuable information about him, which helps Indians evaluate him and his recent judgments. I'm particularly intrigued by his last two judgments: one regarding the disqualification case of a Maharashtra state government MLA, and the other concerning the disclosure of data on Electoral Bonds. I listened to the Chief Justice's interview for a few minutes, and I must say, Mr. Chandrachud, a law graduate from Harvard, seems inclined towards bringing Western-style reforms to India, which I find quite challenging. Take, for example, the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Many European nations are taking sides, but our Foreign Minister has made it clear that "Europe's problem is not the world's problem, so no one can dictate terms to us." In the case of the MLA disqualification, instead of considering the Indian political context, the Chief Justice applied Harvard-style rules of reform. Had he considered the defense's suggestion to represent the accused MLA, the case might have been concluded within three days. Similarly, with the Electoral Bond data, he summoned the State Bank of India (SBI) to disclose sensitive information just before the crucial Lok Sabha elections. Now, with this unaudited data, people in India are drawing conclusions that those who donate funds to political parties are engaging in corrupt practices to gain benefits from the government. While the Chief Justice summoned SBI to produce the data immediately, SBI requested time until June. Since this data is unaudited, I won't reveal any names, but there's a prominent individual from this very hall on that list. While those who know him understand his capacity and ability, those who don't are quick to criticize him. Similarly, one or two engineering companies' credibility is now at stake, and if the government takes action against them, many will lose their jobs. Undoubtedly, the Chief Justice is a meritorious Harvard graduate, but the era of British rule in India is long gone. I appreciate your efforts to encourage him in bringing transparency to Indian elections. However, his act of releasing unverified data has caused quite a mess. In our local Marathi language, we call it "Mansacha hatat kholit," meaning "revealing important data to the wrong hands." Once again, David, I want to reiterate that the British era in India is over. We have our own great universities like Nalanda and our ancient culture, which we are proud of and will soon reinstate. So, any attempts by the British to capture India will not succeed.

Affirmative action for *marginalized* section as defined by "caste, colour, race or gender" is rhetorical soundbite, because in reality it doesn't elevate their status. Reason being. 1. The number of jobs at bureaucracy is limited 2. The pool of candidate who are eligible to apply for those jobs invariably will include have been trained for the role and affirmative action doesn't address that 3. The final beneficiary of this action is the "creamy" layer of those category of people whom you may define as marginalized but who are actually at the same level as prosperous citizens The true test of Marginalization is "being very poor", someone who is below the *poverty line* irrespective of his/her caste, creed, or color
